How to Check if Your Phone Supports eSIM

Before purchasing a Traveler eSIM plan, please confirm that your device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked.

Step 01

Verify EID Information

Enter *#06# on your phone's dial pad. If your device supports eSIM, the EID information will be displayed. If no EID appears, your phone does not support eSIM functionality.

Step 02

Verify That Your Device Is Carrier-Unlocked

Only carrier-unlocked phones can install self-purchased eSIMs.

iOS

Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock → No SIM restrictions

Android

Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → SIM Card Info & Settings → Carrier / Network Operator → Automatic Selection
